Luke's College Fund

 

Greg and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this past September. We have raised three beautiful children: Kailey 26, Garrett 23, and Luke 17. We are committed to giving our children the best education they can have, focusing on their academic growth, spiritual growth and a community to surround them so they may grow to be men and women for others. All three attended St.Ignatius grade school. Kailey attended St. Mary’s Academy for high school, and then University of Portland where she graduated with a B.S. in Nursing. Garrett attended Jesuit High School and then Gonzaga University where he graduated with a B.S. in Software Engineering. Our youngest, Luke, is in his senior year at Jesuit High School and has a dream to attend Gonzaga University.

 

Tragically, Greg passed away on January 19, 2016 after a 12-year fight with Leukemia. He died at home, surrounded by myself, his children, other families members and friends. His deep love for his family and those he encountered in his life will live on in those who knew him.

 

I need to raise money to help fund some of Luke’s education at Gonzaga University. He was accepted to Gonzaga back in December, and Greg and I looked forward to watching him grow and learn at a school that we came to love during Garrett’s years there. Unfortunately, Greg will not be able watch that unfold on this earth, but we are hoping that Luke’s dream of going there can come true and be an honor to Greg’s memory.

 

As Greg and I have watched our children grow into adults, we have been so grateful for the community that has walked this journey with all of us along the way. We have felt blessed by our children who have grown to care for and serve those around them. We would be very humbled and grateful for any contribution that would help Luke attend Gonzaga and honor Greg’s memory.
